TTS Granite is a leader in design, fabrication and installation of granite, marble and quartz in the Chicagoland and NW Indiana areas.  The TTS Granite sales department is currently seeking a sales representative for the Mokena Showroom and a sales representative for the Steger Showroom. 

As a sales representative, you will be responsible for prospecting and calling on potential customers.  You will meet with homeowners, builders and businesses to introduce them to our wide range of products related to natural stone and quartz fabrication for residential and commercial application such as kitchen countertops, bathroom vanity tops, shower walls, Jacuzzi and fireplace surrounds to full wall and floor paneling, outdoor kitchens, unique and special design projects.  This position will require you to be driven, self-motivated and goal oriented.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prospecting new homeowners, builders, designers and commercial projects
  • On-site visits for measures and installations
  • Steger location slab viewings with customers
  • System Reporting, i.e. weekly flash reports, track and report on open bids
  • Participating in monthly sales meetings
  • Travel between our Steger and Mokena locations, as well as throughout the Chicagoland area for visits, measures, assessments, etc. 

Minimum Job Requirements

  • 2-3 years outside commissioned sales experience
  • Knowledge of Granite/Marble/Quartz preferred
  • Business professional
  • Organized, detail-orientated and timely
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, QuickBooks and Xero
  • Basic math skills and the ability to use a tape measure
  • Knowledge of Granite/Marble/Quartz preferred
  • Valid drivers license

This position is salary+ commission, Past history has proven that the right candidate can earn a six figure salary in this position.

 

TTS Granite Showroom Coordinator

Position Purpose:  Coordinating activities at the TTS Granite showroom and fully supporting sales team to achieve sales goals.

Reporting Relationship: TTS Sales Manager 

Position Accountabilities

  • Sales
    • Support Walk-in customers.  Close the sale or distribute sales opportunities to sales team.
    • Strong communication to sales team regarding: sales, inventory, pricing, production, etc.    
    • Instrumental in bid processing - follow-up and track open bids
    • Assist with client scheduling measure, install, photos, etc.
    • Client payment reminder and processing
    • Coordinate photo collection of completed job  
    • General outside sales support
    • Prospecting
    • Marketing

  • Coordinate Showroom
    • General administrative duties: Answer phones, mail, coordinate overall appearance of showroom.
    • Coordinate all sample stock
    • Coordinate partnerships with quartz vendors.  Keep up-to-date samples, customer brochures, and pricing.
    • Coordinate material literature both TTS Granite brochures, post cards, business cards and all marketing material for TTS and quartz products
    • Work with other Showroom Coordinator to establish consistencies between both showrooms.
    • Customer service - Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

  •  TTS Reporting
    • Enter new customer data & other sales data for current customers into Quick Books
    • Weekly sales reporting – bids, sales, customer feedback, walk-in traffic log, etc.
    • Participate in TTS weekly sales meetings

  •  Industry Knowledge
    • Keep up-to-date on TTS Granite products
    • Keep up-to-date on current industry trends
